History
The Usabilty specialist Mercedes Sanchez has been conducting tests with users as well as usability analyses on web sites, intranets, mobile phones and call center systems since 2000, when she started working as an independent usability consultant. In 2003, she was a well-known professional in the Brazilian market and decided to create her own company.
Since 2003, the Usability and User Experience research consultancy firm Mercedes Sanchez Usabilidade has done many usability studies for local companies including banks, credit card operators, manufacturers, B2B and B2C companies.
In 2004, Mercedes Sanchez Usabilidade started working for international user research companies. The quality of our work brought us new international clients and made the firm grow.
In 2007 we were invited to take part in UXA - User Experience Alliance, the biggest network of User Experience companies around the world.
In the 2007 World Usability Day, we published a video that shows the heart rate of a Brazilian trying to get his passport through the site.
In 2006, we participated in the World Usability Day with our "Tá Difícil" blog, created to spread the Usability concept.
